About Richard Ede

In Richard’s career he worked for several main trading banks over a period of 26 years, the first nine being in Hawkes Bay and the remainder in Auckland. As a Commercial and Corporate Banker, Richard helped a vast number of business owners achieve their goals by providing sustainable and outside the square debt funding solutions.

In 2008 Richard was appointed Managing Partner for North Shore and Rodney leading a large team of Corporate, Commercial, Property, Business and Private Bankers along with a range of specialist bankers.

Four years later Richard was appointed as Sector Partner for the Commercial and Corporate sectors across the North Island. This involved providing support to Senior Leaders, coaching bankers, developing tools, leveraging best practice and advising on large and complex debt transactions.

Along with a Degree in Banking and Finance, Richard has benefited from numerous sales, negotiation, pitching, leadership and corporate finance courses. He has dealt with hundreds of business owners across a wide range of industries from start-ups to some of NZ’s largest privately owned businesses.

Richard is now using the skills, knowledge and experience gained from his extensive banking career to help business owners achieve great debt funding and business improvement outcomes.
